The entire Grade 9 class at Nashoba Tech took part in the school’s Day of Service, volunteering across the region to give back to the community.

Students spent the day helping at local organizations including Community Harvest Project, Nubian Community Gardens, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Westford Conservation Trust, Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm, Good Pickin’ Farm, the Scholefield Home for Veterans, and Habitat for Humanity in Ayer.

On campus, additional groups participated in a school beautification project, weeding garden beds and planting mums and spring bulbs generously donated by Nashoba Tech staff and Grade 9 families.

Through their efforts, students demonstrated Nashoba Tech’s Portrait of a Graduate attributes—being Respectful, Responsible, Resilient, Resourceful, and Ready—while learning the value of teamwork, community engagement, and service to others.

Nashoba Tech extends heartfelt thanks to all the community partners, staff, and families who made the Day of Service possible and helped inspire students to make a difference close to home.

Please join us for our Teacher/Staff appreciation football game tomorrow night 9/12 at 7:00. We will have a food truck, snacks and a 50/50 raffle that will go to the Dr Laura Lamore Memorial Scholarship fund. We ask everyone to dress in PURPLE to honor Laura's favorite color.

The Nashoba Valley Technical High School Mentors will be welcoming the Freshmen to the school at Orientation on Tuesday, August 26th - the Class of 2029.
The Mentors have been working with the students to help them get settled into their freshman year.

Tech Hockey. Please welcome Steve Lowney as the Head Coach. Steve has over 28 years coaching experience. 18 as the Head Coach of the Fitchburg/Monty Tech program where he led them to 14 MIAA appearances and 5 conference championships. Coach Lowney also has 10 years of college coaching experience at Fitchburg State University. Steve played his college hockey at Fitchburg State and still holds multiple school scoring records and is in their Hall of Fame. Welcome to the family Steve.
