7 STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR   SKILLS USA NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Caption: Nashoba Tech’s SkillsUSA team had a successful day at the recent State Competition.

Twelve students at Nashoba Valley Technical High School earned medals at the recent SkillsUSA State Competition, and seven of those students have qualified for the national competition, to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, in June.

Earning gold and a spot in the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference are:

** Kaitlyn Landers (junior, Westford) in Cosmetology Over 500 Hours

** Matthew Lynch (senior, Westford) in Industrial Motor Control.

** The team of Aurora Condor (sophomore, Chelmsford) and Connor McCall (sophomore, Pepperell) Audio/Radio Production.

** Dominic Carbone (senior, Townsend), Emily MacNeil (senior, Dunstable) and Frank Horn (senior, Townsend) in Career Pathways Showcase: Arts & Communications.

Phenix Flockhart (sophomore, Littleton) earned a silver in Telecommunications Cabling, while bronze medals went to Michael Whiting (senior, Chelmsford) in CNC Technician, Peter Zaferacopoulos (sophomore, Littleton) in Cosmetology Under 500 Hours, and the team of Nyk Fischer (senior, Townsend) and Dylan Schenck (junior, Chelmsford) in Audio/Radio Production.
