Four juniors in the Early Childhood Education program at Nashoba Tech have received credentials as nannies from the International Nanny Association, the largest such organization in the world.

The INA serves as the umbrella organization for the in-home child-care industry, and provides information, education and guidance to the public and industry professionals.

This is the first year Nashoba Tech allowed juniors to take the exam, and all four who took it passed.

The four are Cassidy Allen (Chelmsford), Alyssa Felix (Shirley), Abigail Peckham (Shirley) and Janneli Soto (Fitchburg). Alyssa achieved the highest score ever by a Nashoba Tech student at 82, and Janelli scored 81.

“What an amazing accomplishment for Early Childhood and these four very talented young ladies,” Early Childhood Instructor Christine Diaz said. “I’m very proud of them.”
