SABRINA LEWIS, CALEB SPURLING ARE  SEPTEMBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Sabrina Lewis, a senior from Ayer, and Caleb Spurling, a junior from Boxborough, are the September Students of the Month at Nashoba Tech.

(Photo Caption) Sabrina Lewis, daughter of Brian and Kathleen Lewis, is in the Dental Assisting program and is heavily involved in extracurricular activities.

She is active in the Viking Theatre Company and Student Government and is a student representative to the Nashoba Tech School Committee. She is working for New England Oral Surgery through Nashoba Tech’s Cooperative Education program and takes all early-college classes to prepare for college. The honor-roll student plans to study in the dental field but is also passionate about art and music.

“I am quite impressed with Sabrina’s knowledge of dentistry, strong work ethic, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn,” said Dental Assisting Instructor Celeste Foley. “She is efficient, organized and extremely competent. Her excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allow her to connect with all kinds of people.”

Caleb Spurling, son of Matt and Laura Spurling, is in the TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts program. He is an honor-roll student who enjoys the creativity that the TV & Media Production program allows him.

Caleb is an honor-roll student who plans to attend Franklin Pierce University after graduation, with hopes of becoming a sports media producer.

“Caleb is an enthusiastic student who displays his content knowledge daily,” said Social Studies Instructor Philip Massa. He is a pleasure to have in class and is deserving of this award.”
