Erin Conway, a Nashoba Tech alumna, has been selected as September's Employee of the Month.
Erin, a guidance counselor, was nominated by fellow counselor Courtney Crory, who wrote: "Erin is an exceptional school counselor and an all-around amazing human being. A graduate of Nashoba Tech’s Early College and Health Assisting Program in 2017, Mrs. Conway returned to NT after earning her master’s degree in School Counseling. She joined the school in 2023 as a long-term substitute counselor and immediately made a positive impact on students and staff alike through her compassion, dedication and professionalism.
"After successfully fulfilling her role as a long-term substitute, Mrs. Conway stepped seamlessly into the full-time position of school counselor and scholarship coordinator, filling some very big shoes with grace and commitment. In these roles, she works tirelessly to support students as they prepare for life after high school, collaborating with local community partners to provide information, guidance and financial assistance opportunities for seniors entering the workforce, unions, trade schools or college.
"In addition to her counseling and scholarship responsibilities, Mrs. Conway has spearheaded several schoolwide initiatives, including Annual Kindness Week and Mental Health Awareness Week, helping to foster a culture of compassion, connection and support throughout the school community.
"As a colleague, Erin is always willing to collaborate and lend a helping hand whenever needed. Her kindness, counseling expertise, leadership and positive presence do not go unnoticed. She is a tremendous asset to the NT community and makes a lasting difference in the lives of students and staff every single day."
