Good afternoon NT Families,
On September 11, we honor and remember those whose lives were lost, those who answer the call to serve in the military and as first responders, and the spirit of patriotism and compassion that we all share on this day of remembrance. At NVTHS we held a moment of silence and many Social Studies classes educated students about the events of September 11, 2001. Our nation's response to that day demonstrates the resilience that we hope to teach students every day.
On a lighter note, it was wonderful having our students back in full swing this week after the long weekend. Our freshmen and juniors spent their week settling into academics, while our sophomores and seniors kicked off a new year in their shops. Across all grades, our students demonstrated great responsibility and resilience during a successful, planned fire drill on Tuesday. To top off a great week, we are excited to host our first home football game tonight. Go Vikings!
