Good afternoon, everyone! Welcome to a Special "Assistant Principal Takeover" edition of our weekly update. I am excited to take the reins this week to share all the great things happening at school. It has been another incredibly busy and productive week.
Our students continue to demonstrate great focus, with another round of AP testing taking place this week. While our seniors were hard at work taking their final exams, it was fantastic to see so many of our tech programs participating in hands-on field experiences. We love seeing our students take what they learn in the shop and apply it out in the real world.
Speaking of applying those skills, I want to give a huge shoutout to our Culinary and ProStart students for an incredible evening last night! The event was a true celebration of student talent and accomplishment, paired perfectly with an outstanding multi-course dining experience.
Another major highlight of the week was a special visit from Brunt Workwear. They generously handed out over 300 pairs of work boots to our students! We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and for equipping our future workforce with the gear they need to safely succeed in their trades.
Finally, if you are looking for a great way to kick off your weekend, look no further. Tonight, our talented Student Rock Band will be taking the stage in the PAC at 6pm!
Come on out, enjoy some great music, and support our student musicians. Have a wonderful weekend!
James Creed, Assistant Principal

Club Updates
The Cultures and Communities Club, has had a wonderful year exploring, honoring, and celebrating the diverse traditions within our school and local community! By experiencing these traditions firsthand, students are gaining a deeper appreciation for our diverse community while building empathy, respect, and curiosity.
On April 30th, 14 students visited Fogo de Chão in Burlington for an immersive Brazilian dining experience. Students enjoyed authentic churrasco, practiced Portuguese phrases, and learned about Brazilian hospitality. Nashoba Tech extends a huge thank you to the management and staff at Fogo de Chão for generously donating this memorable experience for the third year in a row!
A Busy Year in Review: Earlier this year, the club celebrated Diwali with a local henna artist, dined at Mestiza Latin Kitchen, and learned about Jewish culture by playing traditional Hanukkah dreidel games with special guests Ms. Leroy and Mr. Slotnick. For community service, students also collected spices for a local food pantry to help clients preserve their cultural cooking traditions. The cultural exploration continued this spring with a Cinco de Mayo party at school and a trip to a Hot Pot and Korean BBQ restaurant to experience communal "table-cooking" cultures!
The Outdoors Club enjoyed a picture-perfect evening at Halibut Point State Park with 9 students and 2 teachers on May 7th. Once the site of a busy granite quarry that helped build cities across the country, the park is now known for its stunning ocean views, scenic trails, and rich local history.
Students had a great time exploring the park, taking in the beautiful coastal scenery, and enjoying the outdoors together.
Message from the Technology Department
We’re excited to be rolling out a new tool that will simplify how we communicate with you. Rooms, built right into our NVTHS app and website, offers secure and safe two-way messaging.
This addition allows NVTHS to bring the community closer together. From messages to educators, to events, to lunch menus, and more - everything can now live in one place.
With the introduction of the Rooms tool, guardians will be able to have better communication with the NT community, teachers, sports and clubs.
We will be sending out additional information over the next month as we start implementing Rooms tools.
In the meantime please feel free to download the NT app at the Apple or Android store and sign in:

Attention Class of 2026 Parents: Senior Lawn Signs
My name is Kara Gustafson and my daughter Kingsley is a senior at Littleton High School. I am coordinating the Senior Yard signs. If you live in Littleton and have a senior graduating from any high school this year, I will be ordering lawn signs to be displayed in the center of town in late May. Please spread the word.
Signs will include a picture, your student's name, class of 2026, and the high school they are graduating from. Littleton High School students will need to grant permission to allow the school to release their portrait from the yearbook. Students from other schools will need to email a high-resolution picture to gustafsonkm@hotmail.com. Please name the file your students name (First_Last)
We are a month late to the game so you will only have a week, until May 3rd, to fill out the google form and submit payment to me.
The cost is $24, payable to Kara Gustafson: Venmo @KaraGustafson3 (0783), or drop off cash to 31 Grimes Ln, Littleton. Donations are welcome to ensure all students who want a sign can afford one. If I do not have both the google form and money in hand by noon on May 3rd , then a sign will not be made.
Form can be found - Here
Any questions, please contact me at gustafsonkm@hotmail.com
