Principal's Weekly Update - Apr 10, 2026

Good afternoon NT Families,

It has been another busy and exciting week here at school! Our students have been highly engaged both inside and outside the classroom.

Throughout the week, several of our classes took part in field trips and field experiences, allowing students to step outside our doors and bring their learning to life. We were also fortunate to host the New England Laborers Training here at school all week. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain valuable insight into a potential career path.

We had a wonderful time celebrating at last night’s Spring Formal—it was a truly memorable evening for everyone who attended. Additionally, today we held a training session for our Viking Student Mentors. These dedicated Mentors trained with Craig Tornquist to learn ice breakers and welcome our incoming Class of 2030 tomorrow at Accepted Students Day!

I am so proud of the hard work and school spirit our students show every day. Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend!

Message from the Technology Department

We’re excited to be rolling out a new tool that will simplify how we communicate with you. Rooms, built right into our NVTHS app and website, offers secure and safe two-way messaging.

This addition allows NVTHST to bring the community closer together. From messages to educators, to events, to lunch menus, and more - everything can now live in one place.

With the introduction of the Rooms tool, guardians will be able to have better communication with the NT community, teachers, sports and clubs.

We will be sending out additional information over the next month as we start implementing Rooms tools.

In the meantime please feel free to download the NT app at the Apple or Android store and sign in:NT App
