Principal's Weekly Update - Mar 27, 2026

Good afternoon NT Families,

It has been an extraordinary week here at Nashoba Tech, filled with community service, academic milestones, and hands-on learning outside the classroom.

I want to begin this week's message by highlighting an incredible achievement by our Construction Cluster. They have demonstrated exceptional dedication and craftsmanship in successfully completing their latest Habitat for Humanity home.

After much hard work, perseverance, and collaboration, our students and teachers proudly celebrated alongside the two recipient families at a heartfelt dedication ceremony, where the keys to their new home were officially presented. This project was no small undertaking, but throughout the process, both students and staff exemplified our 5 R’s—being Respectful, Responsible, Resilient, Resourceful, and Ready—every step of the way. Their commitment and teamwork serve as a powerful reflection of the values and real-world impact that define a Nashoba Tech education. We could not be prouder of them!

A big congratulations to our Sophomore class, who officially wrapped up the English Language Arts portion of their MCAS testing this week. We know testing requires a lot of focus, and our students approached it with wonderful maturity. Thank you to our staff and families for supporting them through these important academic milestones.

Our students have also been busy taking their skills out into the real world this week with several exciting field experiences. Some of our Early College students took a trip to the Massachusetts State House, getting a firsthand look at our state government in action. Students in our TV Media/Theater Arts, Early Childhood, Health Assisting, and Carpentry programs all traveled into the community for specialized field experiences, allowing them to apply their technical skills in real-world environments.

Finally, please note that, assuming we do not have any additional snow days, the last official day of the school year will be Wednesday, June 17th.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and our programs. I hope you all have a wonderful and restful weekend!

Jeremy Slotnick, Principal

Message from the Technology Department

We’re excited to be rolling out a new tool that will simplify how we communicate with you. Rooms, built right into our NVTHS app and website, offers secure and safe two-way messaging.

This addition allows NVTHST to bring the community closer together. From messages to educators, to events, to lunch menus, and more - everything can now live in one place.

With the introduction of the Rooms tool, guardians will be able to have better communication with the NT community, teachers, sports and clubs.

We will be sending out additional information over the next month as we start implementing Rooms tools.

In the meantime please feel free to download the NT app at the Apple or Android store and sign in:

2025 School Report Card

Families and communities are critical partners to a school's success. Just as a student's report card shows how they are performing, the school report card shows how a school is performing in multiple areas. It shows the school's strengths and the challenges that need to be addressed to ensure the school is meeting the needs of all students.  View our report card Here / Flyer Here
