Ryleigh Gary, Alexa Kaminski, Stephanie Silva are NT's January Students of the Month
Nashoba Tech has selected Ryleigh Gary of Chelmsford, Alexa Kamenski of Townsend and Stephanie Silva of Pepperell as January’s Students of the Month, based on the school’s “Portrait of a Graduate” attributes: resourceful, responsible, resilient, respectful and ready.
Ryleigh Gary, daughter of Chris Gary and Rebecca Hughes, is a senior in the Hospitality Management program. She is an honor-roll student and has participated in the Taste of Nashoba and other events. She also plays volleyball for the Vikings. She plans to attend a four-year college to study Nursing.
Ryleigh was nominated by Social Studies instructor Phillip Massa, who wrote: “Ryleigh always shows up and does her work. She is responsible, respectful and reliable. Even when tasks are challenging, she puts her best foot forward and tries her best to face it head-on.”

Alexa Kamenski, daughter of David and Debbie Kamenski, is a senior in the Design & Visual Communications program. She is a high-honors student and participates in SkillsUSA, as well as the Cultures & Communities Club. She plans to enlist in the Navy after graduation, then continue her focus on graphic design.
Alexa was nominated by Design & Visual Communications instructor Derik Rochon, who wrote: “Alexa is an amazing go-getter. They are always going above and beyond for the shop, clubs they are involved in and the school. When they have down time, they can be found inside the shop working on their Advanced Placement Art class. They give their all in whatever activity they are working on. Alexa is a role model for the 5 R's and student exemplifies what it is to be a vocational-school student.”

Stephanie Silva, daughter of Paul and Michelle Silva, is a junior in the Health Assisting program. She is an honor-roll student and freshman mentor. She plays volleyball and softball for the Vikings and is a member of the Flag Football Club. She plans to attend college, possible the University of New England, with hopes of becoming a registered nurse.
Stephanie was nominated by Health Assisting instructor Milaina Mainieri, who wrote: “Steph has an amazing attitude. She works hard at learning her skills and content, she excels in clinical, and she is happy to support, lead or adjust to the differences in her classmates. She is always willing to do what is asked but generally doesn't even need to be asked. She is a joy to teach and will make an excellent health-care professional in the future.”
