The Cultures and Communities Club at Nashoba Tech recently held a Spice Drive, with collected items donated to the Lowell-based Coalition for a Better Acre. The collection gives families access to spices and cooking oils to be creative in the kitchen and preserve their culture by keeping family recipes alive.
State Rep. Vanna Howard, a member of the CBA Board of Directors, accepted the donation from club members Emma Ehring (senior, Chelmsford), left, and Aaron Jewer-Liles (senior, Chelmsford). This is the fourth year the club has held a Spice Drive for the CBA. (COURTESY NASHOBA TECH)
