Mass ProStart culinary students demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication while working at the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Wednesday, held at the prestigious Boston Colonnade Hotel. The MRA Hall of Fame honors rising star chefs, offering the students a valuable glimpse into the industry.
The students were instrumental in the kitchen, preparing and plating high-end banquet items. Their contributions included crafting a sophisticated appetizer of Mushroom Risotto Arancini with Truffle Sauce. Additionally, pastry students expertly plated a high-end Salad and Dessert. Beyond the plating, the ProStart team assisted the chefs with extensive prep work, including baking and preparing over 275 donuts and ensuring all banquet food was plated perfectly for service.
The event was a phenomenal, real-world learning experience, showcasing the intensity and professionalism of a large-scale industrial banquet.
