Good Afternoon NT Families,
What an incredibly eventful week it was here at NT! We moved from serious readiness to major celebrations! We began the week with a focus on safety, successfully completing a fire drill this past Tuesday. Practicing these procedures is crucial to ensuring everyone knows how to respond quickly and safely in an emergency.
Some of our students demonstrated their academic focus as they participated in PSAT testing yesterday. This is an important step in their college and career journey, and we are proud of their commitment and effort.
We officially unveiled our brand new Cosmetology area! This beautiful, state-of-the-art space marks a major enhancement for our Career and Technical Education program. It was fantastic to celebrate this milestone with students, staff, graduates and community partners.
The school spirit was absolutely electric! Our pep rallies generated incredible enthusiasm, and the Homecoming Dance last night was a huge success. Seeing our students enjoying themselves and making terrific memories with their friends is a highlight for all of us.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Jeremy Slotnick, Principal

Cultures and Community Club

The Cultures and Communities Club celebrated Diwali with a craft, snacks, music and henna art. Our friend Shweta Teskade came back for her 3rd year to do henna art and tell us about this beautiful holiday celebrating the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. The students got henna tattoos, enjoyed snacks from Apna Bazar Market in Lowell, did Rangoli designs, and brought home a diya lamp as a gift. Amy St. Arnaud is the advisor of the Cultures and Communities Club. The club would like to thank Ms. Stacy Coccia for saving the day and making this event happen.
