Good Afternoon NT Families,
Students and staff are looking forward to another spirited spirit week (Halloween Humor), pep
rally, and homecoming dance/ game. Please encourage your students to participate and make
some terrific memories with their friends.
The Veterinary Science students had an exciting week! Their focus was on the gastrointestinal
(GI) tract - specifically that of ruminants such as cows, sheep, and goats. They welcomed a
week-old calf from Dr. Sarah’s farm. Students had the opportunity to administer vaccines and
practice tube feeding. The sophomores conducted a hands-on science experiment, led by Ms.
T, known as the Fermentation Lab, which simulates what happens inside a ruminant’s rumen
during fermentation.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Jeremy Slotnick, Principal
