NT Students of the Month - Sept 2025

James Conway of Groton and William Desmarais of Pepperell have been selected as September’s Students of the Month at Nashoba Tech, based on the school’s “Portrait of a Graduate” attributes: resourceful, responsible, resilient, respectful and ready.

James Conway, son of Peter and Shelagh Conway, is a senior in the Advanced Manufacturing program. He has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society, and is an honors student. As a junior, James earned a bronze medal in CNC Technician at the SkillsUSA District competition.

He plans to attend the Pennsylvania College of Technology, or Penn Tech, to continue his studies in manufacturing.

James was nominated by Spanish teacher Amy St. Arnaud, who wrote: “James is excelling in Spanish 2, consistently participating in class, and always coming prepared with the right answers. Recently, he scored a perfect 100% on a challenging map quiz covering 20 Latin American countries and their capitals. James is highly motivated, often studying at the library in the evenings as he prepares for college. His dedication, strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning truly set him apart.”
