Forty-six recent graduates from Nashoba Tech earned the John and Abigail Scholarship.
The state scholarship provides a tuition credit for up to eight semesters of undergraduate education at any of the 29 UMass universities, Massachusetts state universities and Massachusetts community colleges.
Eligibility is based on students' first-time scores on high-school MCAS tests. Scholarships are granted to students:
whose combined MCAS score places them in the top 25% of students in their district.
who score in the Advanced category on one of three state assessment tests in English Language Arts, Mathematics, or STE (Biology, Chemistry, Introductory Physics or Technology/Engineering).
who score in the Proficient or Advanced category on the remaining two state assessment tests.
