Jayden Jean of Chelmsford (pictured) and Micah Wells of Westford have been selected as November’s Athletes of the Month at Nashoba Tech.
Jayden Jean, daughter of Tim and Amanda Jean, is a freshman cross-country runner who was named a CAC All-Star. She plans to run track as well for the Vikings.
Cross-country coach Bruce Sullivan nominated Jayden because she was Nashoba Tech’s top girl finisher in the CAC Championship, finishing seventh overall.
Micah Wells, son of Jason and Wendy Wells, is a junior cross-country runner who “was instrumental in securing Nashoba Tech’s first league title in 40 years,” according to coach Bruce Sullivan. He lost just one dual meet all season and placed second in the CAC Championship.
Micah is in the Engineering Academy. He also plays baseball for the Vikings.
