Alyssa Felix of Shirley (photo caption) and Andrew Ferreira of Chelmsford have been selected as the Athletes of the Month for March at Nashoba Tech..
Alyssa Felix, daughter of John and Lisa Felix, is a senior captain of the softball team, playing second base for the Vikings, and she also captained the winter cheerleading squad. She is a high-honors student in the Early Childhood Care program and, as a junior, achieved the highest score ever for a Nashoba Tech student in the certification exam for the International Nanny Association. Alyssa has been accepted to attend Worcester State University to major in Elementary Education.
Andrew Ferreira, son of Chris and Sherry Ferreira, is a junior center fielder for the baseball team. He also plays football for the Vikings. Andrew is in the Advanced Manufacturing program. He plans to enter the Air Force after graduation.
