Samantha Valcourt of Westford is one of two Nashoba Tech finalists for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Presidential Scholars program for Career and Technical Education.
Samantha, daughter of Tara and the late Alan Valcourt, is a high-honors senior in the Health Assisting program. She has served as freshman mentor and president of the Class of 2021. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society and will be inducted this spring into the National Technical Honor Society. She has also twice been named Athlete of the Month, for softball and cheerleading.
Samantha has received certification as a certified nursing assistant, a home health aide and for CPR and first aid. She is working as a CNA at Westford House nursing home through Nashoba Tech’s Cooperative Education program. She plans to attend Western New England University in its Pre-Physicians Assistant program.
