Alexa Beaubien of Pepperell and Ryan Farrar of Shirley have been selected as October’s Athletes of the Month at Nashoba Tech.
Alexa Beaubien, daughter of Allan and Cindy Beaubien, is a captain for the soccer team. Alexa is a senior in the Robotics program. She is an honor-roll student and recently qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship to any state college or university. This past spring, Alexa placed third, with fellow senior Katarina Barden, at the SkillsUSA State Competition in Industrial & Engineering Technology.
Alexa plans to obtain a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Architecture or Interior Design, and is looking into Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Ryan Farrar, son of Cory and Camille Farrar, is a standout goalkeeper for the soccer team. Ryan is a junior in the Plumbing & Heating program at Nashoba Tech. He hopes to become a firefighter after graduation.
