Two seniors at Nashoba Valley Technical High School competed in the recent Massachusetts State Automobile Dealers Association competition.

Only 10 teams qualified to compete, and Daniel Abercombie and Chad Miner, both from Pepperell, earned a spot in the exclusive competition based on their scores on a test of “basic automotive knowledge.”

In the MSADA competition, held at Massachusetts Bay Community College, the two worked as a team at 10 different stations that posed diagnostic challenges that tested the students’ overall auto-technology knowledge.

The top team in the competition earned a spot in the National Automotive Technology Competition held at New York’s International Auto Show in April, and though Benjamin and Albert did not finish first, they agreed that the experience will help them both in their careers.
