Hotel Restaurant Management

In the Hotel Restaurant Management Program students receive hands-on experience in booking space availability, banquet menu planning, room design, set up and function billing. Students are trained in the areas of hotel room reservations and front desk duties including night audit. Students are also responsible for the front of the house operations of the school restaurant, The Elegant Chef.
Graduates find employment opportunities in areas such as dining room supervisor, banquet chef, front desk supervisor, and managers in area restaurants and hotels. With advanced training, careers are available in positions such as a restaurant manager, food and beverage director, banquet manager, concierge, and in the office of human resources.
