HEALTH ASSISTING STUDENTS PICK APPLES WITH ASSISTED-LIVING RESIDENTS

The students helped the residents pick apples, and they all enjoyed apple cider and apple-cider doughnuts on a perfect autumn day. Bridges by Epoch is an assisted-living facility in Westford whose residents suffer from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss. The Nashoba Tech’s Health Assisting program and Bridges have formed a close partnership, with students visiting the residents frequently and the school hosting the residents for lunch and other activities throughout the school year.
