WESTFORD — A pair of freshmen have been selected as June’s Students
of the Month at Nashoba Tech.

Jordan Hasbrouck of Pepperell, daughter of Rich and Tara Hasbrouck,
is a freshman in the Engineering Academy, and she already has her future intricately engineered, with plans to study to become an electrical and mechanical engineer. Jordan is a high-honors student, president of the Astronomy Club and Math Club, and a member of the Robotics Club and Radio Club. She competes for the football and spring track teams and was president of the freshman class.

Jordan was nominated by Music Instructor Laura Lamore, who wrote:
“Jordan has been an exemplar of an amazing student. She enjoys doing Calculus and loves astronomy. She has been an upstanding and caring student all year. She took her office as class president very seriously and has on multiple occasions worked toward making sure everyone gets along. Jordan is an amazing student and person.”

Science Instructor William Toomey, who is the adviser of the clubs to which Jordan belongs, called her “the quintessential student. She takes on every challenge that comes her way.”

Jonathan Baldwin, son of Christopher and Tina Baldwin, is a freshman honor-roll student in the Automotive Technology program.

Jonathan was nominated by Automotive Technology Instructor Richard Karamanian, who wrote: “It is not often that a freshman exhibits motivation, professionalism, maturity and courtesy at this level. We are fortunate to have Jonathan in our program and school. He will be a valuable asset in any institution or industry.”
