WESTFORD — Krista Russell of Pepperell and Richard Bourdelais of Chelmsford have been selected as October’s Students of the Month at Nashoba Tech.
Krista Russell, daughter of Jason and Angie Russell, is a senior in the Design & Visual Communications program. She is currently attending Middlesex Community College on a full-time basis through Nashoba Tech’s Dual Enrollment program. She is an honor-roll student, and has been inducted into the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society.
She plans to continue at MCC for a year to earn her Associate degree, then transfer to a four-year college.
Richard “R.J.” Bourdelais, son of Daphna Bourdelais, is a junior in the Programming & Web Development program. He is an honor-roll student and a member of Nashoba Tech’s FIRST Robotics team. He plans to continue his education in programming after graduation.
Krista and R.J. were both nominated by Director of Technology Carol Heidenrich and Computer Tech Specialist Neil Ericson for work they did over the summer in support of the school’s technology initiatives. Heidenrich and Ericson wrote: “There were older, outdated computers to be recycled. Without the help of Krista and RJ, our school year would not have gotten off to such a good start. We received many compliments over the summer about their work ethic.”
