Horticulture Club
The Horticulture Club at Nashoba Tech is a student-run group that meets once or twice a month, based on the seasons. Students develop an appreciation for the natural world and an understanding of environmental responsibilities by engaging in activities, both outside and in the school greenhouse. The mission of the Horticulture Club is to promote the enjoyment of gardening and environmental conservation through school-wide activities and community outreach projects. Students participate in working in the Herb Garden and growing plants in the greenhouse. Fundraising events include Daffodil Days to benefit the American Cancer Society, selling poinsettias and raffling off bouquets for Valentine’s Day and Mother's Day. In May, students assist the veterans in the beautification of the Chelmsford Veteran Memorial Park for their yearly Community Outreach Project.
